This memorial place and museum has a small exhibition about relationships between Ayutthaya and Japanese people, which had been nourished through trading. In the past, this neighbourhood by Chao Phraya River was the place where around 1,000 – 1,500 Japanese people settled down.

The first building is the place to show the relationships between Ayutthaya and Japan, and has an interesting video presentation and an exhibition that provide great knowledge to visitors. Meanwhile the second building is the place to show the stories of Okyasenaphimuk (Yamada Nagamasa), a Japanese who became a state official in Ayutthaya and had great loyalty to Ayutthaya Kings, and Thao Thong Kip Ma (Lady Mara Guyomar de Pinha), a half Portuguese and half Japanese lady who had expertise in cooking dessert until she was regarded as the Maestro of Thai Desserts.

In the Japanese village, there is also a shady Japanese garden; hence, apart from learning about history of Ayutthaya, visitors can also relax themselves with the refreshing ambiences the garden that is located by the river side.
