This authentic Thai restaurant serves Thai foods that may be unknown to people of new generation such as saengwa (Traditional Thai spicy salad). The owner of the shop, whom we call ‘Uncle’, told us that Bangkok people called saengwa ‘Tai Kung (chili paste with prawn). This food is tasty and can be categorized as a type of ‘yam’ (spicy salad). Another best seller dish of Taen Kitchen is pig cartilage stir-fried in chili paste. This shop uses just cartilage with rib meat, which is chopped thoroughly before being stir-fried. This food reflects a good idea of cuisine and it tastes excellent.
