Aranyik Village is a community in Pak Tha Sub-district, Tha Ruea District, Ayutthaya Province, but you cannot find any Aranyik knife there because the centers of Aranyik knife production are Ban Ton Pho Village and Ban Phai Nong Village, Tha Chang Sub-district, Nakhon Luang District.

Villagers of Ban Ton Pho Village and Ban Phai Nong Village have been making knives for sale for a long time. In the past, Aranyik knives would be sent to big markets and gambling clubs in Aranyik Village, which is not so far, and was a big river port in the neighbourhood, until people called the knives Aranyik knives.

Aranyik knife making community has always been promoted for tourism. Now, you can take a tour around Ban Ton Pho Village everyday because villagers are still making Aranyik knives. Each house has a unique production method or step. You can see and talk to the manufacturer in order to inquire for information. In addition, there are also home-stay services in the community and a local museum for you to learn about the manufacture of the knives and histories.

If you want an Aranyik knife, you can buy one from any shop in the village where you can buy either a knife that can be used or a beautiful one to be shown only.
